James MacLeod has been producing images exploring contemporary culture, particularly video game and hollywood film, for several years now.
Taking visual influences from the source material itself, the Baroque style and 20th century Pop Art, he produces intense paintings that critique and embrace the aestheticism and glorification of violence found in contemporary film and video games, in relation to modern warfare. James continues to explore the area of contemporary popular culture and conflict, in images auch as 'Gorilla Warfare'
